Majorca Road – road closure
Stage two of Majorca Road, Maryborough upgrade is continuing.
The project includes underground drainage, new kerb and pavement renewal.
The section of road, between Cadle Street and Nelson Street is currently closed to allow for excavation works. Works are expected to be complete by the end of May.
The $761,366 project has been jointly funded by Central Goldfields Shire and the Federal Government as part of the Roads to Recovery program.
Inkerman Street upgrade works
Our works team is currently upgrading a section of footpath along Inkerman Street, Maryborough - between Barkly and Raglan streets.
The project also includes a new kerb and channel and the road itself will also be stabilised and reconstructed.
Roadworks are underway and will take approximately three to four weeks to complete. Detours are in place which take motorists into Goldsmith Street, Kars Street and Palmerston Street.
