Interim Chief Executive Officer Vince Haining joined Central Goldfields Shire on 31st July 2017.
Vince has previously held CEO roles in Local Governments (Maribyrnong and La Trobe Councils) and senior executive roles at Boroondara Council and the City of Melbourne. He has also been CEO of the Lost Dogs Home in North Melbourne and has undertaken a variety of consultancies in recent years.
Vince has extensive experience in community engagement, Strategic Change Management and Organisational development.
He is a Fellow of the AICD and holds an economics degree.
Venkat Peteti joined Central Goldfields Shire Council in April 2017 as the General Manager Corporate and Community Services.
David Sutcliffe commenced the General Manager role at Central Goldfields Shire Council in April 2009.
David is originally from Mildura and completed his degree in Engineering at Ballarat University before moving to Melbourne to work as a professional engineer. His first job as a professional engineer was with the Ministry of Housing, followed by two municipalities of Bayside Council and the City of Casey.
In 1995 David stepped into something completely different - owning and operating a computer retail business. He then returned to engineering as the Victorian Director of a South Australian/Victorian consultancy in 2002. The consultancy specialised in waste water treatment for small communities, land development and design and support services for local government. He returned to local government in 2006 at Baw Baw Shire and from there moved to Central Goldfields Shire.
Sharon Fraser began her role at Central Goldfields Shire Council in November 2011. Sharon was appointed to oversee the State funded Go Goldfields project – a landmark community initiative that targets the needs of children, young people and families throughout the shire and tackles social disadvantage.
Prior to joining Council, Sharon held roles as Project Manager for major regional organisations such as Bendigo Health, the Department of Human Services and the Maryborough District Health Service.
Sharon possesses contemporary management skills and style-relevant senior management experience. She has sound knowledge of best practice considerations on community and human services relevant to the role; as well as extensive experience in managing complex relationships across service settings.
