Family Fun at Energy Breakthrough

The biggest event on our annual events calendar - Energy Breakthrough is on in Maryborough from Wednesday 20 to Sunday 24 November, 2024. 

In 2024 we are celebrating our 32nd event and are expecting to welcome:

• 4,600 participants and their families
• 15,000 visitors over five days
• 250 teams from almost 100 schools - with five schools travelling interstate from South Australia and New South Wales 
• $3.66 million to be injected into our local economy 

Everyone's invited to share in the excitement and fun atmosphere at this year's Energy Breakthrough event.

• Bounce onto our Jumping Castles - Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 4pm, (unlimited all day for $10pp)
• Level Up Gaming Experience - Wednesday to Friday from noon to 8pm (free), with PlayStations, VR and e-gaming
• Youth Chill Out space and games - 12pm to 5pm Wednesday to Friday (free), including disc golf (with frisbees), bowling, and giant board games

Saturday is family day at the event, with a host of new and exciting things to do and see:

• Jumping Castles - extended hours from 10am to 8.30pm (Activity Pass/unlimited all day for $10pp)
• Food Vans from 11am till late
• Climbing Wall, Slot Cars, Archery, Face Painting, Meltdown – 4.30pm to 8.30pm (Activity Pass/unlimited all day and includes Jumping Castles, for $10pp) n 24hr Race Trial – starts at 12pm (free viewing)
• Outdoor movie, School of Rock - 6.30pm to 8.30pm Saturday
