Great news for local creatives!

Thanks to the Victorian Government’s Council Support Program, we have secured $100,000 in funding to activate a creative space at the iconic Maryborough Railway Station.

The space – located at the northern end of the Station – was upgraded in 2023. This funding now means we can employ a project officer to engage with our community around how this area can be sustainably activated into the future.

Whether it be workshops, artists in residence, performances – we’ll be working with the community to develop a model and pilot program.

The creative space will complement the Visitor Centre and The Station Cafe Restaurant Bar as our iconic Maryborough Railway Station continues to become a hub of activity for both locals and tourists to our Shire.
