Maryborough Aerodrome Leases

PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEASE PART OF MARYBOROUGH AERODROME

Central Goldfields Shire Council (Council) gives notice under Section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) of its intention to enter into 7 lease agreements for parts of the land described as 152 Leviathan Road, Maryborough.

The proposed Leases are to be granted over part of Crown Land managed by Council described as Crown Allotment 12, Section 17, known as the Maryborough Aerodrome. 

The proposal is that Council grants Crown Lease Agreements in accordance with Section 17D of the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978 to;

1. Rotary Club of Maryborough

• Site:                                     Hangar Site 126 located at 152 Leviathan Road, Maryborough
• Permitted Use:                    Storage of goods associated with the Rotary Club.

1. Deborah Elliott

• Site:                                     Hangar Site U1/134 located at 152 Leviathan Road, Maryborough
• Permitted Use:                    Aviation related business and/ or operational activities including storage of
                                              aircraft and any other aviation related equipment and consumables.

1. Ian Carfrae

• Site:                                     Hangar Site 2/134 located at 152 Leviathan Road, Maryborough
• Permitted Use:                     Aviation related business and/ or operational activities including storage of
                                              aircraft and any other aviation related equipment and consumables.

1. Maryborough Aero Club Inc

• Site:                                     Hangar Site 2/154 located at 152 Leviathan Road, Maryborough
• Permitted Use:                     Clubrooms and operational activities including storage of
                                              aviation related equipment and consumables.

1. Maryborough Aero Club Inc

• Site:                                     Hangar Site 3/154 located at 152 Leviathan Road, Maryborough
• Permitted Use:                     Maintenance and operational activities including storage of
                                               aviation related equipment and consumables.

1. John Kidon

• Site:                                     Hangar Site 2/136 located at 152 Leviathan Road, Maryborough
• Permitted Use:                     Maintenance and operational activities including storage of
                                              aviation related equipment and consumables.

• Site:                                     Hangar Site 3/136 located at 152 Leviathan Road, Maryborough

• Permitted Use:                     Maintenance and operational activities including storage of
                                              aviation related equipment and consumables

Any person may make a submission under section 55 & 57 of the Act and must do so in writing within 28 days of the date of publication of the original notice on 17^th May 2024 or by the 13^th June 2024 which will be the last date for submissions to be accepted.
