ELECTON PERIOD

The 2024 Council Election will be held on Saturday 26 October. The Election will be held by post, with ballots to be received prior to 26 October.

In the lead up to this date, we will enter the Election Period from 12noon, Tuesday 17 September to 6pm, Saturday 26 October.

During this period, it will be ‘business as usual’, however, to comply with our Election Period Policy and the Local Government Act 2020, there are restrictions on the kinds of decisions that can be made, and the information that we can communicate to the public. This is to ensure Council actions don't influence voting in the election.
