OPERATIONS REPORT

Dogs on grounds

IMG_9108.charlie.cricket.catch.poo.dogs1.crop1.rotate.jpeg

Our Open Spaces team is appealing to dog owners to please clean up after their pets. They spend many hours preparing our cricket grounds to a high standard for our local and visiting teams and recently have noticed increased soiling by pooches.

Pet owners are required to pick up their dog droppings, and failure to do so can incur fines. The soiling can also interfere with cricketers and can present safety risks during play.

Building improvements

Maintenance and improvements at our kindergartens continues in preparation for the start of the kindergarten year.

Roads and paths

There has also been line marking around Maryborough at Goldfields Reservoir, Dundas Road, Alma Street and Maryborough Community House.

DELEDIO FUNDING

deledio.pavillion.jpg

Great news for Dunolly! In partnership with the Deledio Pavilion Reference Group, we've been successful in securing an additional$1.5 million in funding for the pavilion upgrade project.

This is in addition to the $1 million secured in 2024 from the Victorian Government.

The money will contribute to a larger project plan for new change rooms, kitchen and kiosk facilities, undercover areas, first aid facilities, and will include sustainable rainwater harvesting and solar power.

We’ll keep you up to date as the redevelopment progresses.
