SATISFACTION SURVEY

Every year a phone survey is coordinated by Local Government Victoria to monitor customer satisfaction within each Victorian council area.

Up until mid-March you may receive a call from "National Field Service".

400 surveys are conducted to represent our population, which at the 2021 Census was 13,483, of which 10,832 were over 19 years old.

Your details and individual responses are confidential, and we appreciate your valuable feedback.

ROADS AND WORKS

New apprentice

P1230625_kAYLAB2.jpg

Welcome to 23-year-old Kaylab who has joined our Roads and Works crew for a three year apprenticeship.

Calab’s happy to be working locally and learning new skills.

The crew has been tidying up the edges, drainage and making repairs to Potts Lane, Carisbrook this week. It’s a busy Council sealed road leading to the Carisbrook Transfer Station, needing regular maintenance.

Road upgrades

Next week our Roads and Works crew moves to Frederick Street, Maryborough for a complete street refurbishment. Works will include a full dig out, new crushed rock base and new asphalt, plus replacement gutters and driveways.

Adjoining Whittaker Street will also be re-surfaced. Weather permitting, works commence on Monday 3 February and will continue from 7am to 4pm weekdays until the end of March.

Residents will continue to have access to their properties, except for occasional delays.

The project is fully funded by the Federal Government's Roads to Recovery program at an estimated cost of $406 000.
