The truth is none of us like paying rates.
But did you know your rates are actually supporting you, your family and our Central Goldfields community? In fact, all of us benefit one way or another with what our rates contribute to.
Your rates, along with Victorian and Federal Government grants, allow us to deliver 36 services and invest in maintaining and building new infrastructure.
It is these services and infrastructure that help support you, your friends, and families, so that we can continue to build a Central Goldfields Shire we can all be proud of.
I’m incredibly proud of how much our organisation delivers on such a tight budget – especially as Council too is feeling the brunt of rising interest rates and cost of living.
As you can see, there is so much that your rates make possible, we thank you for helping make the Central Goldfields Shire a place of choice to live, work, visit and enjoy.
